WHO WE ARE

We are Vika and Phillip, professional animators and illustrators. 
We have been working in animation for over 10 years, creating our author films, and commercial & social projects. Originally from Moscow, we received our degrees in Russia, relocating to Israel in 2022.

 

Philipp Yarin

Apart from animation, Philipp loves to read comics and creates some himself. He also does children’s illustrations. His book “Amazing Dinosaurs” was published in Russia and China. His recent film “Old Good Vinyl” is being shown at a variety of film festivals. The other film “Other Shores”, in which Philipp worked as an artist, was selected for the main competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
His film “NUK” received the Best Animation award in Bulgaria and Grand Prix at the Russian International Animation Festival (2014). The film “The Old Leaf” received a Special Prize at the Open Film Festival of CIS countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) KINOSHOK, Russia (2011). Philipp also created a music video that was awarded the top prize at the main Russian animation festival in Suzdal.

Vika Spiryagina

Vika loves music videos from the 90s and 2000s and old MTV.
She recently debuted as a children’s book author and illustrator, creating a picture book titled “Lullaby” that was awarded the Best Book Project prize at the “Book Inside” contest by Samokat Publishing House (2020), making Vika a Laureate of New Names in Children’s Book Illustration at «The Image of a Book» XIV International book illustration and design competition in Moscow.“Lullaby” was also exhibited at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Italy, in 2021.
As for animation, Vika created a number of original animated films as a director and visual concept artist. “Doll’s Letters”, on which Vika worked as a visual concept artist, received the First Prize at the Big Cartoon Festival, Russia (2016).“The Tale of the Fox” (2014) received the Third Prize at the same festival (2014). Vika also worked as an animator on the documentary special project “There Once Lived…”, which received third place at the World Press Photo (2018). Vika also participated in the SICAF Animation Festival in South Korea with her diploma project.
